January 2026 Webmasters Forum: Accessibility Support Session + 2026 Community Planning
As we move into the new year, web accessibility continues to be a top priority, especially
with the April 2026 ADA Title II deadline approaching. Many webmasters are navigating
questions about where to focus, how to prioritize work, and what support is available.
This month’s University Webmasters Forum will be an Accessibility Support Session + Community Planning discussion. Rather than a formal presentation, this session will be conversational and interactive, with time for questions, shared challenges, and discussion around common accessibility issues webmasters are encountering.
We’ll also spend time planning together as a community. Your input will help shape upcoming Webmasters Community of Practice topics and formats so future sessions focus on what is most helpful right now.
This session will focus on:
- Accessibility questions and challenges from the community
- Common issues emerging from accessibility scans and reviews
- Areas where additional guidance or shared resources would be useful
- Planning priorities for future Webmasters CoP meetings
Whether you’re early in your accessibility work or actively remediating issues, this
session is an opportunity to connect, ask questions, and help guide how the community
supports accessibility efforts moving forward.
