University Brand Updates

New interlocking U logoOn Tuesday, July 1, 2025, the University of Utah rolled out updated visual identity guidelines as part of University Marketing & Communications’ brand refresh. 

Here’s what's changed:

  • Updated header color
    Website headers will shift from dark brown to black to better align with official brand colors.
  • New university Logo
    The current university logo will be replaced with the updated interlocking U logo (see image below).
  • Refreshed color palette
    Core colors remain the same, but accent colors have been adjusted and brand guidelines updated.
  • New fonts for headings and body text
    Factoria (for headings) and Myriad Pro (for body text) will replace Montserrat, Vitesse, and Industry. 

All sites hosted by UMC (WordPress) and UIT (Modern Campus) will be updated automatically.
